Dereham, Norfolk’s Heart
Dereham is a fine example of a mid Norfolk market town, about 15 miles west of the historic city of Norwich, which has an international airport and excellent rail links to London and beyond. Serving a population of about 16,500, over the past few years Dereham has evolved rapidly with excellent shopping:
- including many traditional shops, too.
There is a twice weekly market (Tuesday & Friday), monthly farmers market, a newly built leisure and swimming pool complex, newly built library (one of the busiest in Norfolk), excellent choice of golf courses and other sporting pursuits are available. There are excellent schools, including sixth form college, and easy access to excellent walking and riding in the Brecks as well as the wonderful North Norfolk coast.
Parsons & Co are always keen to provide much more detailed information about the area, don’t hesitate to ask.
