Long-term buy-to-let investors 'enjoying good conditions'

People who have long-term investments in buy-to-let properties are
currently experiencing excellent conditions, it has been
claimed.
According to Mark Garner, managing director at LettingZone, such
people are benefiting from the financial situation at
present.
He stated: "For existing landlords, it has never been better
because interest rates are at an all-time low so with the property
you bought a while ago, the cash flow is looking really
good."
The expert went on to claim that the whole housing market is
improving and most investors will be starting to look into buying
more property over the course of the next two or three years.
Mr Garner advised all those who purchase a house or flat in order
to let it out to always conduct a full reference check on
prospective tenants.
His comments follow the release of figures from the Royal
Institution of Chartered Surveyors, which suggested that the supply
of new properties coming on to the rental market fell last
quarter.
